ASSESSORS MEETING MINUTES

JULY 21, 2005

6:45 P.M.  Called meeting to order.  Present:  Paula Keefe, Richard Gorden

                  and Mark Mazur

1.  The Board reviewed and then granted the fiscal year 2007 application for forest land

     by E. & N. Welch for the following parcels:

            43-11               291R Mountain St.

            43-13               281 Mountain St.

            43-14               281R Mountain St.

2.  The Board signed a notice of action on the fiscal year 2007 application for forest land

     by E. & N. Welch.

3.  Chairman of the Board,  Richard Gorden, signed three copies of a Forest Land

     certificate for E. and N. Welch.  By this action the Welch’s are committing their

     property to Forestry use under M.G.L. Chapter 61 through 2015.

4.  The Board reviewed and then granted seven fiscal year 1998 real estate abatements

     for property owned  by Skanco Development or Skanco Sharon-Foxboro

     Development but transferred on 12/31/97 to the Town of Sharon.  We

     received special state permission under M.G.L. Chapter 58 Section 8 to grant these

     abatements.

5.  The Board denied the motor vehicle abatement application of Mr. C. Logan for his

     2005 bill.

6.  The Board was told that we have reached agreement on a settlement of our last

remaining fiscal year 2004 commercial ATB case.  The paperwork for it should be   coming soon.
